Welcome to the latest “People I Know” Newsletter! In this edition, we're pleased to announce great new changes in the makeup of Baseline International and Baseline International Publishing. We will also be announcing new products that will be available soon.

Baseline International Baseline International Publishing

Baseline International and Baseline International Publishing divide and Incorporate:

In order to offer more focused and diversified services Baseline International and Baseline International Publishing have split into two separate companies and incorporate. With the division and incorporation of both companies there will be no digression of services but a better rounded operational focus for both. Baseline International will become the parent company and Baseline International Publishing will be its subsidiary. This separation will allow Baseline International to focus on other varied business interest while Baseline International Publishing will continue to primarily focus on the publishing of literary writings and music. Maurice Skillern the founder of both companies made this decision after re-evaluating the individual goals of the two companies. Both companies will continue to work together but under the individual brand names, and both companies will remain centered for operation out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Messages: Re-released by way of Baseline International Publishing

Maurice Skillern’s introspective book of poetic-philosophy “Messages” will be re-released soon through Baseline International Publishing. The business relationship between Baseline International Publishing and Cedar Hill Publishing ends in June 2006. In August 2006 “Messages” will be re-released in a hardback edition with a beautiful new cover. The relationship between these two companies ends amicably and under the stewardship of both companies “Messages” has gained a large following. The new edition will be a hardback edition with many new enhancements, including the new original cover by Raphael Mizzell that truly captures the essence of the book. We know you will enjoy it and more information on this new hardback edition will be available soon. For now the autographed copies of the current soft-cover edition can still be purchased through Baseline International at (Baseline International).

Maurice Skillern’s CD “Messages: I Dreamed Tomorrow”:

Maurice Skillern’s CD of him personally reading from his book of poetic-philosophy “Messages” will soon be available. It promises to be an interesting verbal ride along the mysterious pathways of the philosophic thoughts of this innovative thinker. You can hear early samples of Maurice’s CD on the spoken word page of his website (Maurice Skillern’s; spoken word page).
